Our Practice
You're starting to wonder if your relationship with alcohol has become problematic, even if it's not yet causing major disruptions in your life. The idea of never enjoying a drink again isn't appealing, but recovery doesn't have to mean 100% sobriety. There is a middle ground where you can change your relationship with alcohol in a way that works for you.
About Chelsea
If you’re starting to question what you want your relationship with substances to look like, you’ve come to the right place!

I don’t preach sobriety and I’m not here to tell you not to do drugs. I’m here to create a place where we can have the difficult conversations in order to shine light on the parts of us that we would rather hide or pretend didn’t exist.

I’m certainly not saying this is easy work. I’m not a quick fix therapist who is interested in only “managing” your symptoms and or helping you better function in a fucked-up situation or world. I’m about getting to the root cause of your pain and using your intuitive knowledge about yourself to heal. As a wise mentor once told me, “I’m not in the business of misery management” – my work is about healing.

Folks that choose to work with me state that “I get it…” Why do I get it? Because I have both personal and professional experience working with problematic substance use, as well as other compulsive behaviors (including ones that are praised by our society – think perfectionism and workaholics). I wasn’t looking to work with addictions and substance use – it found me. I’m glad it did. I’m grateful that my clients trust me and allow me to walk with them in the darkest of places. And as they move along in their journey – they learn that the power to heal, live, and experience joy again has always been within themselves the whole time.
